i am a slow painter, writer, and cultural worker.
i like to weave on multiple looms at once until i have no more string, make paper, play with pigments, write about art and dye my clothing.
i would like to shear my own sheep and grow flax when i grow up.
my cultural working takes the form of museum mediation, art education, editing, communications coordination, and sometimes but not often, exhibition facilitation + curation.
my teaching methodology is student-centered and rooted in accessibility, material culture and sustainable practices.
my art writing is a vessel for me to demystify the creation process, thinking through art abstractly and exchange ways of knowing.
